Hello there 👋
I’m a Software Engineer with over five years of experience, working on data integrations, cloud solutions, and technical support. During my time at Accenture, I worked on projects ranging from natural language processing (NLP) platforms to IoT and virtual assistant systems.
In Accenture’s project-based environment, I had to pick up new skills on the go, relying on my Computer Science fundamentals and passion for problem-solving to keep up. Working across different technologies has helped me adapt quickly and continuously expand my knowledge in dynamic environments.
Career Journey
Getting Started – API & Frontend Development
When I first joined Accenture, I went through a bootcamp where I learned Java, Spring, and Angular. After that, I got assigned to a project where I ended up staying for over five years.
Cloud & IoT Integration
In that first project, I worked on cloud technologies and DevOps, mainly doing technical support for customers integrating IoT systems into a client’s digital platform. That experience gave me a solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and problem-solving in real-world scenarios.
Switching to NLP Engineering
Later on, I moved to an NLP-related role, where I maintained system entities, fixed bugs, and built new features based on customer requests. This was my first hands-on experience with natural language processing, and I was lucky to learn a lot from the client. Thanks to their recommendations, I got promoted to Level 11 (Software Engineer Analyst equivalent in other companies).
Data Engineering & Integration
After that, I got recruited as a pioneer member of a new data integration project. We were trained in data engineering fundamentals, and I helped build our team’s first integration process, giving feedback to the client while they finalized the platform.
I also built our team's integration playground, a testing environment where we reproduce issues reported by customers to troubleshoot and refine solutions. This became a key resource for debugging and improving our integration process.
I handled the first batch of integration tickets, wrote process documentation, and was eventually entrusted to be the SME (along with my second promotion). Over time, the project grew into a 20 member team, and I picked up skills in technical writing and business process management along the way.
Certifications & Learning
I’ve earned a few certifications, including:
These help me stay up to date with the latest in cloud computing and data engineering.
